Introduction
Ride the ALPHA SACX® lead-free wave to higher value.

On 16th February 2004, we launched our new Lead-Free wave solder alloy ALPHA Vaculoy SACX®. This new alloy is a cost-effective solution for Lead-Free, delivering the lowest total cost of ownership. Over the last three years, more than 1,000 customers have converted to SACX®. This has enabled them to produce cost-competitive lead-free assemblies. When making this choice, many of our customers conducted their own evaluations subjecting the alloy to tests on process yield by undertaking process DOE, and assessing reliability by conducting extended thermal cycling tests.

We are pleased to say that SACX® has delivered on all fronts, and that conversions to this alloy are growing exponentially.

We have added to our range of SACX® products and can now offer SACX® Cored Wire, SACX® DT dip tinning alloy, SACX® HASL and SACX® Solder Paste, SACX® BGA Spheres with other products in the pipeline.

We know that making a decision on a Lead-Free alloy is a difficult one, and for this reason we have developed this SACX® Data Library. You will find in it all of the most important information on customer trials and research data.
